LAYERS!!!

Class,

Here are Constanza's examples of 'layering'. When we talk about 'layer's we are referring to layers of you strategy: how you organise the water; how you organise the paths/connections/public space; how you organise and place the program.

'Layers' help us separate this information and then we bring it together in a combined drawing. Its a way of making sure we understand all the separate components and then can make sure they also relate.

Like here; All the layers of the strategy are seperated. We can begin to understand the arrangement of the strategy and the complexity of it, by breaking it down into its separate parts!

Eco-Interstice

An urban garden blossoms in Paris’ St. Blaise neighborhood, bringing community together in cooperation with professionals and the local government. City walls in the dense urban area become an opportunity for growth and a new environmental awareness.
